Standards of Conduct for Youth Working with Minors – Spanish

La Arquidiócesis de San Francisco aprecia su disposición para ayudar a niños que son más jóvenes que usted. Hemos creado estas normas de conducta porque queremos que nuestras acciones coincidan con nuestra fe; queremos que se respetes a todas las personas, desde los adultos en tu vida hasta los niños que te admiran; y queremos asegurarnos de que lo traten con el respeto que se merece. Hay condiciones para este privilegio de trabajar con jóvenes.

No se realizan evaluaciones de antecedentes a menores (menores de 18 años) que trabajan con menores. Se requiere que los menores que trabajen con menores: (1) sean supervisados en todo momento por un adulto que cumpla con todas las normas; y (2) completar todos los cursos de nivel de grado de Seguridad Juvenil hasta su grado actual.

También pedimos que siga las siguientes indicaciones de “que hacer” y “que no hacer”:

QUE HACER:

  • Respetar a los adultos y niños con quienes interactúa
  • Proteger y cuidar a todos los niños u otros jóvenes bajo su cuidado
  • Tratar a todos con respeto, lealtad, paciencia, integridad, cortesía y dignidad
  • Ser positivo, comprensivo y paciente al hablar, escribir y actuar con los niños/jóvenes
  • Reportar sospechas de abuso a un supervisor, padre, director o pastor
  • Mantener límites físicos y emocionales apropiados con los niños/jóvenes
  • Vestir apropiadamente y no usar ropa con mensajes o imágenes ofensivas
  • Evitar situaciones en las que estaría solo con un niño/joven
  • Procurar afirmar el buen comportamiento en niños/jóvenes y evitar cualquier crítica o comparación que pueda dañar
  • Tener en cuenta que los jóvenes pueden apegarse fácilmente a un líder juvenil o un adulto: si siente que eso está
  • sucediendo, no lo aliente; informe a sus padres, supervisor, pastor o director para que él/ella/ellos puedan ayudar.

QUE NO HACER:

  • Cometer un acto ilegal o inmoral
  • Fumar, vapear, o usar productos que contienen tabaco en la presencia de niños/jóvenes
  • Usar, poseer, o estar bajo la influencia del alcohol o drogas ilegales en cualquier momento
  • Amenazar verbalmente o abusar físicamente de alguien
  • Usar blasfemias en presencia de niños/jóvenes
  • Usar disciplina que asuste o humille a un niño/joven
  • Tocar a un niño/joven de una manera excesivamente cariñosa o inapropiada
  • Acosar sexualmente, solicitar favores sexuales, o hacer declaraciones sexualmente explícitas a cualquier persona
  • Tolerar comportamientos inapropiados o de intimidación
  • Promover cualquier punto de vista contrario a las enseñanzas de la Iglesia Católica
  • Colóquese en una situación en la que su interacción con un niño/joven no se pueda presenciar
  • Participar en visitas privadas, fiestas u otras actividades con los niños/jóvenes a menos que sea aprobado por su supervisor
  • Desarrollar relaciones personales inaprop
  • Aceptar obsequios o dar obsequios a niños/jóvenes bajo su cuidado sin la aprobación de su supervisor
